Troubled by the problem of power-cut, students used to come here to study:
The story of this platform has been covered by many media websites. According to the story, about twenty years ago, students troubled by the problem of electricity came on the platform and started studying at night. As the students became successful, the number of students coming here also started increasing and in a year about 300 to 400 students came here to study here.
For two hours every morning and evening, both the platforms 1 and 2 of the railway station turn into a coaching class for young people who are aspirants for the Civil Services.

The platform used to change in the coaching class:
Students used to come here because there was 24/7 electricity and hence students living in nearby villages used to come here to study. IAS officer Avneesh Sharan told in his tweet that the platform of this station would turn into coaching and the successful students used to give guidance to the preparing students.
Railway administration had started issuing passes:
Realizing its responsibility, the railway administration had also started giving identity cards for the convenience of the students, so that the students could come to the station without any inconvenience.
