According to a media report, Sahus is the world number three shuttler and was the runner-up in the 2017 Japan Open Para Badminton tournament. Apart from this, he was part of the men’s team that won the bronze medal in the Jakarta Para Asian Games-2018. Suhas has won gold medal in men’s singles event in Asian Championship 2016 organized by China.
Badminton World Federation selected Suhas for Paralympics:
The Badminton World Federation has selected Suhas for the Paralympics on the basis of world ranking and performance and invited the Badminton Association of India or Paralympic Committee of India.

Suhas was the DM of Prayagraj during Kumbh in 2019. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appointed Suhas LY as the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar to control the corona epidemic. Apart from this, Suhas has been the District Magistrate of Jaunpur, Sonbhadra, Azamgarh, Hathras and Maharajganj.
